This AVP-level role leads Group Benefits actuarial valuation within Nationwide Financial. You will oversee reserve, DAC, and VOBA calculations for statutory, GAAP, and tax accounting, ensuring model and system accuracy. The position involves monitoring regulatory changes, influencing accounting rules, and partnering with auditors and finance stakeholders. Ideal for a seasoned actuary with deep valuation expertise and leadership experience.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of actuarial experience preferred
- FSA and MAAA designations preferred
- Extensive experience with actuarial modeling software (Polysystems, ALFA, GGY AXIS or similar)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
